Aiming for a historic double

The Commonwealth Bank VicSpirit has named an unchanged line-up for the WNCL Final against NSW to be played at the SCG on Saturday.

The Victorians will be aiming to become the first side to win both titles in the one season after defeating the Breakers by nine runs in last night's WT20 Final but will have to break NSW's six-year title hold on the competition.

Leg-spinner Kristen Beams shapes as a match-winner for the VicSpirit after taking 6-20, including a hat-trick, in last week's match against ACT Meteors.

She also has a good record against the Breakers, having captured 5-38 at Hurstville Oval in January 2009 and 4-25 at Manly in December 2009.

NSW prevailed by 37 runs when the two sides met in December.

Led by 94 (83) from Lisa Sthalekar, the Breakers posted 8-275 from 50 overs with Sarah Elliott (2-25), Danni Wyatt (2-29) and Clea Smith (2-52) claiming two wickets each.

A run-a-ball 60 from Elliott, as well as a rapid 46 from skipper Emma Inglis gave the Victorians hope but three wickets from Ellyse Perry (3-39) was too much and they were bowled out in the 47th over for 238.

VicSpirit captain Emma Inglis said after last night's triumph that they weren't getting carried away.

"The last two years we have won the T20 title and failed to back it up so this year we are focussed on winning the double," Inglis said.

"They're a great side and are going to be hard to beat but if we execute our plans I know we can do it."

The match will begin at 10am and will be live streamed at http://www.cricket.com.au/media-gallery/video/live-video with updates on Twitter via @VicSpirit.
