Tickets for next Big Bash game on sale from midday

Cricket Victoria has announced that tickets for the next KFC Twenty20 Big Bash double-header at the MCG on Friday, January 15 will go on sale from midday today. Following Saturday's blockbuster against NSW that drew almost 30,000 people, Cricket Victoria and the Melbourne Cricket Club have agreed to make tickets available for pre-purchase from Ticketek. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for children under 15 and $25 for families and are available at http://www.ticketek.com.au/, by calling 132 849 or at Ticketek outlets (booking fees apply). Tickets will also be available from the gate on the day. Fans are encouraged to get there early with action starting at the MCG from 3.15pm when the DEC VicSpirit take on the ACT Meteors in a Women's Twenty20 contest, before the DEC Bushrangers come up against the PKF Tasmanian Tigers from 6.45pm.
