Bio: The prodigiously talented youngster made her WNCL debut last season, playing four games for the Spirit, but it was in the Twenty20 format of the game where she made the biggest impact. Playing against the WA Fury at the MCG, Lanning hit a towering six over long on as she made a quick-fire 27. Despite missing parts of the season due to school cricket commitments with Carey Grammar, Lanning was still named in the VWCA Premier Firsts Team of the Year, averaging 103.5 runs in eight matches.
