Annie Maloney,22, had a great 2010-11, breaking back into the VicSpirit squad last season with authority.
After a 15 month stint away from the game, Maloney snared 17 wickets throughout the WNCL and Twenty20 season - an outstanding effort that propelled her into the Southern Stars squad for the Rose Bowl Cup Tour of New Zealand. She made her international debut in July in a nail-biting victory against India.
Maloney began her comeback with relocation to Melbourne from Geelong and started playing with new club Box Hill. She also began studying for her Bachelor of Environments at The University of Melbourne.
