With the departure of Clea Smith and Annie-Rose Maloney from the Commonwealth Bank VicSpirit line-up, Binch will form a key part of a new-look bowling attack.
The fast bowler was the VicSpirit's most effective bowler in both tournaments last year, recording the best strike rate in WNCL and WT20.
She claimed four wickets in the longer format in four matches and five wickets in 10 Twenty20s.
Her best performance came early in the season against Western Fury when she claimed 3-28 from 5.4 overs.
Binch was an integral part of the powerful Essendon Maribyrnong Park line-up, hitting 199 runs and claiming 19 wickets at an average of just 13.59.
