Entering her fifth year as head coach of the VicSpirit, Fitzpatrick will aim to improve on a successful 2010/11 season, where her side made both finals -winning the Twenty20 crown for the second successive year.
In her playing days, Fitzpatrick was regarded as the fastest female bowler in the world, regularly bowling 125 km/h. She represented Victoria 103 times and was the first female bowler to claim 150 One-Day wickets, finishing her career on 180.
