After playing four One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20s in early 2010, Hunter had an injury riddled 2010-11 season, restricting her to only three matches for the VicSpirit.

Hunter regained fitness for the end of the VWCA season and showed why she was an international player, claiming 4-16 in a Semi-Final loss to Essendon Maribyrnong Park.

The coach of her VWCA club Dandenong, Hunter embarked on a big pre-season preparing for a mammoth season after the disappointment of last year.
