In a season of numerous highlights, two innings stood out; a breathtaking fifty in the Twenty20 final and her maiden One-Day International century in just her third match for Australia.

Lanning's 74 from 56 balls in the Twenty20 final elevated her side to a match-winning total. Her unbeaten century against England confirmed her position as one of the best batters in the world.

Having only played 11 matches for the VicSpirit in 2010-11 due to her Southern Stars commitments, Lanning still hit 604 runs at an average of 54.91 for Victoria. She also had the highest average (76.67) in the Premier Firsts Essteele Cup.

Having now played eight ODIs for Australia, Lanning boasts an average at an international level over 30.
