A new addition to the Commonwealth Bank VicSpirit squad in 2011-12, the Essendon Maribyrnong Park opening batter and off-spin bowler had a stand out U18 National Championship where she captured the Bowler of the Championship Award with 15 wickets.
An elegant stroke maker and sharp fielder, Strano first put her hand for State selection after she made a century in the final of the Under 18 National Championships in 2009-10.
She also had a consistent season with Essendon Maribyrnong Park, finishing fourth in the Una Paisley Award.
